Two die as car flips off Okinawa ExpresswayDate Posted: 2008-02-21 A car entering the expressway southbound at the Kitanakagusuku Interchange and a vehicle already traveling south on the highway collided, sending the smaller car against, then over the highway barrier and four meters down onto a local road. Police say the two occupants of that vehicle were taken to a hospital, but doctors ruled “they died instantly when their car smashed onto the road.” Doctors say they couldn’t do anything. The driver of the second vehicle was injured. He is conscious and talking to police. |
