Superbowl mania cranks up at all MCCS clubsDate Posted: 2008-02-01 Participating clubs will all offer traditional breakfast buffets and prize giveaways as guests soak up the action on big-screen televisions. In addition to the breakfast buffets featuring scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, biscuits, and coffee, tea or juice for only $5.95, complimentary finger foods are available throughout the games. The Denver Broncos cheerleaders will kick off the game at the Globe & Anchor, then head over to the Butler Officers’ Club for their version of a halftime show. The cheerleaders will spend the postgame celebration at The Palms. Doors open at 6 a.m. at Awase Meadows Restaurant, Bayview on Camp Courtney, BeachHead on Camp Schwab, Globe & Anchor on Camp Foster, Surfside at Camp Kinser, The Palms at Camp Hansen, and Thirsty’s on MCAS Futenma. The Butler Officers’ Club opens for Superbowl XLII at 7 a.m. Flying T-shirts and football trivia provided by Budweiser and Miller will be given at halftime. MCCS promises each club will have more than one viewing screen, making the football action up close and personal. Superbowl XLII is open to all SOFA ID card holders and sponsored guests. |
