Exercise course stimulating at East Green ParkDate Posted: 2007-12-28 ![]() ![]() The park has plenty of exercise equipment, and there are instruction signs for novices on how to use each training site. There are training stations for leg lifts and stretching, a twist chair, balance beam, parallel bars, hanging rope and a jump touch board at the park, each in its own expansive grassy area. Ryokuchi-Higashi Park, also known as East Green Park by foreigners, is an idyllic spot to walk or jog. The special hiking and walking street is designed to provide foot massage on its pebbled surface, a great combination of therapeutic massage and exercise. Gazebos in the park are covered, and are ideal for picnics. The open lounge areas are surrounded by plenty of grass, trees, and even a touch of forest to kick back and relax. Rest room facilities are provided at Ryokuchi-Higashi Park, and there’s plenty of parking. Travel to East Green Park is easy. From Kadena Gate 2, go to Gushikawa Jusco, the Yellow Hat car accessory shop and Yamada electronics. Pass that intersection, then turn left at the first traffic light. Go straight, passing Daiwa lease, then look for the park sign on the right side. Simply follow the signs. |
