Cops issue tips to stop motorcycle theftsDate Posted: 2007-12-03 Most of the recent thefts have been in the JUSCO Naha area, but one youngster says “there are a lot of bicycles and motorcycles disappearing from schools and supermarkets” as well. Tomishiro Police are now waging an information campaign, telling people to double lock their bikes before walking away from them. Traffic rules specify motorcycles, motorbikes and bicycles are to be locked with two locks. Police say the double lock system will deter thieves. |
