HIS Hong Kong charters gear up for the holidays

Date Posted: 2007-10-12

Hong Kong is a city filled with many “must see” and “must do” sights, and Okinawa’s HIS Travel has prepared a holiday’s special, just in time for the historic city’s Christmas sales.

The Symphony of Lights, a laser show flashing colorful beams across the city’s skyline, is a nightly event in Hong Kong, and a recommended “must” on HIS Travel’s charter flights for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Only four hours from Naha departure to arrival in colorful downtown Hong Kong’s hotel and restaurant district, the flight’s only 2˝ hours, travelers are quickly on the move taking tram tours to Victoria Peak for its famous night view.

HIS charter flights are four-day three-night packages, with travelers able to plan their own time in Hong Kong. Fees include roundtrip airfares, hotel accommodations and breakfast, and transportation services to and from the Hong Kong Airport. HIS Travel has increased the number of charter flights, noting commercial international flights from Okinawa only go to mainland Japan, Taiwan or Seoul, Korea.

Years ago, Pan American World Airways and Northwest Airlines used to have direct flights from Okinawa to Micronesia and Hawaii, but those are dreams of the past. HIS Travel is building travel dreams and experiences for today. Hong Kong’s huge Christmas sale begins in late November, and runs through early 2008. Hotels and restaurants prepare special menus for the occasion. Streets filled with antique shops, oriental antiques and jade are conveniently located within walking distance of major hotel and shopping areas.

HIS Travel notes it’s the most pleasant season in Hong Kong during late Fall, with temperatures ranging 15~20C. Hong Kong charter information is available at both the Hamby and Gate 2 HIS Travel locations. Information and reservations are available by phone at the Hamby office, 982-7600, or Gate 2 Street office, 983-4620.
