Registration deadline Wednesday for Awase TournamentDate Posted: 2007-10-02 The three-day, 54-hole Club Championship is one of Okinawa’s prestigious tournaments. Registration deadline is Wednesday at the Awase Meadows Pro Shop. The $80 registration fee includes a free practice round, free club storage and cleaning, a putting and long-drive contest, breakfast and hot dog lunch each day. Organizers will also provide beverages on the course, a tee packet, and post-tournament banquet at the Butler Officers’ Club. The tournament runs Saturday through Monday. A separate division is established for golfers over 50, and officials say the 2007 Club Championship will be a tee time event. |
