Retired school principal vandalizes carDate Posted: 2007-09-24 Urasoe City Police were tipped off by a car owner someone was outside his home, scratching his car. Police arriving about 1:20 a.m. found the culprit still at the scene, where he had used his own car key to make a 1.9 meter scratch in a neighbor’s car. Officers arrested the man, who identified himself as Chairman of the Urasoe City Board of Education Study Institution and a retired elementary school principal. The man, who was drunk, told police he had been at a Board of Education meeting earlier in the evening. He admitted scratching the car, but told police he doesn’t know why he did it. The man simply said “I’m sorry.” |
