ANA to boost surcharges on international flights

Overseas travelers on All Nippon Airways will see prices increase on Fall flights as the airline hikes prices to cover rising fuel costs.

ANA says it will increase existing fuel surcharges on flights starting in the October-December period. Hikes will be 300 to 4,400 on each one-way leg of international flights.

Flights linking Japan to Europe, North America and the Middle East will now have a 13,000 fuel surcharge, up from the current 12,000 yen. ANA says there will now be a 9,900 yen fuel surcharge for flights connecting Japan with Hawaii, Thailand, India, Singapore and Malaysia, up from 8,700 yen.
