A wildly speeding car flipped over and crashed into a flower shop after the driver lost control and mowed down a guardrail and trees in Naha’s Oroku district on Jan. 23. Although the vehicle and the store were completely destroyed, the 21-year-old driver was not injured, while a 19-year-old female passenger suffered only slight injuries to her head. According to an eyewitness, the car sped by at an excessive rate of speed, making an extraordinary noise that sounded like subterranean rumbling, after which the accident occurred.
