Car audio and extreme radio controlled car demo Saturday

Date Posted: 2007-07-27

It's a boom-boom time for car audio enthusiasts this Saturday (28 July) as electronics companies will bring their best and newest equipment for demonstration in front of the Camp Foster Theater.

The event will take place from 11 am to 3 pm and there will be cars that have top of the line audio equipment installed. Well known labels such as JVC, Kenwood and Pioneer will be represented.

For a good measure, X-Hobby will demonstrate their extreme radio controlled cars at the event as well. Ricky Uema of Military Sales & Service Co. says that although this is a trial event and the first of its kind, he is confident that the event will turn out to be a popular one. “We wanted to create an event that everyone can enjoy,” said Eric Honeycutt of JVC. Masami Takai of Kenwood added “Come down and see, feel, and hear this event!”

Professional representatives of manufacturers will also be present to answer any questions that the patrons may have.

On a note, AAFES is celebrating its 112th birthday this week and is offering plenty of specials at its stores.
