Hot summer parties derailed by typhoon rescheduledDate Posted: 2007-07-20    In what it calls "a summer party series to beat and enjoy this steamy hot summer," the parties will take place the last weekend in July. The ‘This is Why I’m Hot’ parties begin next Friday, July 27th, and run through Sunday at Palm Springs, formally known as Kina’s Kitchen in Chatan Town. The parties are open to the public. Each day’s party has a different theme. Flashback Friday Sexy Summer Soul Music Festival features deejay Hi-5ive and MC Birdman. A ‘Beer Garden Pee Party’ kicks off at 6 p.m. Saturday the 28th, where everyone drinks free until someone runs to a restroom. Organizers say the free drink game challenge will take place at least three times during the evening. A Players BBQ begins at 5 p.m. on Sunday the 29th, with customers sitting back to relax, listen to music, play dominoes or simply enjoy the ocean breeze and scenic terrace view. Cash prices will be awarded to guests with the most original and most revealing outfits. The event is free, but a one-drink-minimum applies. The barbeque will be available at a nominal fee. The Friday and Saturday parties are not free, but customers have the option to purchase a three-day pass, which can be shared with friends. Palm Springs Building is located on Highway 58, just outside Camp Foster’s ‘The Spot’ Gate 4. A large green “lake” sign is visible from the roadway. The club is located on the sixth floor. |
