Salon offers protective summer skin treatments

Date Posted: 2007-07-14

Ultra-violet rays and stress can damage skin, ruining the fun of summer.

Come Across Salon has designed a series of summertime treatments that can offset the effects of mother nature, offering new facial care. The Color Preserve Bi-energy series of five different color preservation treatments lets the customer make color choices based upon individual skins circumstances.

Facial specialists say pinks and rose are good for anti aging, while purple or lavender are excellent for the person who wants to relax both the mind and body. The reds are a berry color, and good for those with dull skin, pimples, skin marks or black spots. Kiwi fruit green protects sunburned skin and red face, while pineapple yellow is just right for those with dry skin.

The facials, colorful with a pleasant fruity scent, relaxes the skin and refreshes both face and mind, according to a Come Across manager.

Tired skin, she says, will go away while the beam facial permits natural cleansing and beautifies skin.

Come Across Salon is offering a special discount on both prices and on 90-minute regular and deluxe facial treatments, color masks, light facials and vitamin C masks. The regular $70 price is reduced to $60 this month. Reservations are available at 983-7741.
