Kadena concessionaires shift location during constructionDate Posted: 2007-06-21 The personal services and concession activities sponsored by the Army and Air Force Exchange Service will relocate to the new, temporary Kadena Marketplace, Bldg. 224 next to the main Kadena Service Station in August. Much of the equipment and infrastructure in the current Marketplace is being used to create the new, temporary location and therefore will not allow for an immediate transfer from one location to the other. “We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers who will temporarily be without some of the services normally offered at the Kadena Marketplace. However, the move will help AAFES save dividend dollars that go back to the military community and it will take a few weeks to transition to the new location,” said Jerry Broccoli, Okinawa Exchange General Manager. Mr. Broccoli also reminds customers to use the Olympic Mall location for their beauty and barber shop needs along with any of the various other locations around the island that offer these services to authorized AAFES customers.
