Date Posted: 2007-06-14

The Marine Corps is looking for a few well defined, good men and women.

Entrants are being accepted for the 12th Annual Far East Bodybuilding Competition, coming up in July at Camp Foster. The event is open to soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines from across the Pacific. Civilians and dependents can take a shot at the titles up for grabs in six men’s divisions and three women’s categories.

Bodybuilders will be judged on presentation, muscular development and symmetry, according to MCCS officials at Gunner’s Fitness Center, where the competition will take place.

Registration must be completed by June 29th, and submitted along with a $15 entry fee. Competitors must select a weight class when registering, but may change divisions at the time of weigh in on July 15th. Details are available online, at www.mccsokinawa.com, or from the Gunners Fitness Center, DSN 645-3484.
