Tokyo company snaps up more local land for resort

Another mainland Japan company is tossing its hat into the Okinawa resorts ring.

Zefa, a Tokyo-based real estate company, says it has purchased lands in the Onna Village Fuchaku area, and are now ready to begin construction on condominiums and a hotel in the first phases. The Fuchaku Resort Okinawa Condo and Hotels project is already under way, with first buildings to be complete and open in April 2008. The second type construction will be villas.

Tokyo Resort Company will sell the facility, with prices ranging in the ¥25~30 billion priced range. Model rooms will open February 10th.

A Zeta company official says the area being developed is 28,300 square meters. Both the hotel and condominiums will be designed and landscaped by the central construction management team.
