Okinawa scores five cities in Japan Top 100 surveyDate Posted: 2006-11-17 Five Okinawa cities were among the Tp 100 in the country, with Naha City highest at 9th place. Okinawa City was 10th, Miyako City 21st, Ishigaki City 24th and Nago City 63rd. Fifteen cities in Hokkaido were ranked in the Top 100. Okinawa officials, beaming with pride at the new results from the Brand General Laboratory, cite increased interest in this southernmost prefecture as a retirement location as the reason for the high placements. Okinawa, they point out, is fast becoming the preferred migration location away from the mainland. |
