First Eazy Call winner selected

Date Posted: 2006-08-11

A civilian employee at the U.S. Navy Hospital Okinawa is the first winner of a drawing by Eazy Call.

The telephone card company established the summer promotion to attract attention to its low cost phone cards. John Nakada, a MLC employee at Camp Lester, says “I buy the cards to make international calls on my cell phone, so I figured I might as well try out the drawing. And I won.”

Eazy Call gave Nakada a bright yellow tee shirt for his wardrobe, and a ¥1,000 Family Mart gift certificate, plus nearly four hours free telephone calls to the U.S. “We’ll continue to have monthly drawings throughout the year,” an Eazy Call manager says. “In September, to celebrate ‘back to school’ two winners will be selected.” The big prize, he says, is still to be announced. It will be awarded during the winter holidays.

Eazy Call International Prepaid Cards are sold at Family Mart stores across Okinawa. Card holders enter the drawing simply by going to the www.eazycallworld.com web site and using the “Contact Us” field on the home page to register by providing a name and the card PIN number. All entrants, a company official says, receive free sample cards just for registering.
