Popular phone card expands distribution

Date Posted: 2006-06-30

Eazy Call calls itself “the cheapest prepaid card in Japan.”

Eazy Call International Prepaid Cards are expanding operations on Okinawa through its relationship with Family Mart stores island-wide. The upcoming 4th of July weekend marks the start of Eazy Call’s summer sweepstakes marking expansion of its card distribution system. “We started distributing in select Family Marts in central Okinawa, since this was where the largest concentration of the international community resides,” says an Eazy Call manager. “While sales were solid though, we were getting lots of requests for cards from many stores not a part of the initial phase.” That, he says, led to this expansion.

He says “in addition to the super low rates offered by Eazy Call—7.9¢ per minute to the U.S.—the sweepstakes are another great reason to buy the card.” The card PIN numbers can be used to enter drawings for free cards, tee shirts, sample cards and other prizes. “The timing is great” with the Independence Day holiday, he added.

Eazy Call’s multi-lingual homepage, www.eazycallworld.com, has all the details. Simply use the “Contact Us” button to send contact information and PIN numbers.
