Italian restaurant opens doors at Camp FosterDate Posted: 2006-06-16 ![]() Romano’s Macaroni Grill opened for business on Camp Foster, the restaurant chain’s first ever venture onto a US military installation. Romano’s features a wide assortment of Italian dishes, including pasta, veal, seafood, steaks, roasted chicken and brick-oven pizza. The Commanding General, Marine Corps Base, Brigadier General Joseph V Medina, joined Marine Corps Community Services chief Stephen Pauli and Romano’s Macaroni Grill franchise owner William Ko in dedicating the facility on Monday. Medina praised the new restaurant as offering increased services for Marines and WestPac Inn/Lodge customers, noting the new eatery will soon offer breakfast to its customers. Romano’s Macaroni Grill is now open Sunday through Thursday, 11am~10pm, and Fridays and Saturdays 11am~11pm. Lunch is offered 11am~4pm, while dinner fare is available 4pm~ closing. The restaurant is also offering “to go” food service. |
