EazyCall makes the holidays brighter with powerful cards

Date Posted: 2005-12-08

The season for calling home to loved ones is here, and EazyCall wants to join the holiday spirit.

EazyCall, which launched its new International Prepaid Phone Cards in October, is laying in ample supplies to cover the Christmas season. An EazyCall sales manager says business has been on the rise since they first began offering the cards at Family Mart stores surrounding the bases, and that is should get even better. “Our sales have been solid and we definitely did see a nice spike in sales during the Thanksgiving weekend,” he said, promising there will be no shortage of cards for use during the holiday season now beginning.

EazyCall notes its cards provide more than four hours talk time, compared with less than three from their primary competitor. “There just weren’t very many alternatives available in the prepaid card market until we came along,” the sales manager noted. “Of course it’s an ‘eazy’ choice.” The holiday program from EazyCall offers free sample telephone cards with the purchase of any Y2,000 prepaid card.

Family Mart, which opened its doors to EazyCall at its stores near U.S. bases, says it’s been a boon for them too. Family Mart managers say they see increases in the number of Americans visiting their stores, and they gladly welcome the business.

“As a full service convenience store chain,” one store employee said, “it’s good we can provide more products and services to the community. Family Marts in the area from Oyama (Pipeline) Branch near MCAS Futenma, to the Nago Multimedia Store near Camp Schwab, are offering EazyCall cards, together with the free sample cards, through the New Year.
