Also, where other similar restaurants charge you by the weight of your bowl after you fill it with your desired meats, vegetables, and sauces, Genghis Khan charges you a set fee of \1450 per person. This fee includes unlimited access to the barbeque bar, free ice tea or water, and bread or rice. If youfre not full by the time you leave this restaurant, itfs your fault! The meats and vegetables are all fresh and delicious too! If you havenft yet tried Mongolian barbeque at any of the similar restaurants, youfre missing out. If you have tried it, but not here, youfre also missing out. Once you enter the restaurant and are directed to your table, you will then be directed to the barbeque room. Here, you fill your bowl with your desired ingredients and hand it to one of the cooks. Within minutes, youfll bowl will be returned to you full of steamy, sizzling meats and vegetables. Absolutely mouthwatering! Good grief! This restaurant will turn you into a glutton! Though ice tea and water are available for free, you can also order soft drinks for \150 (large) or \100 (small), or you can order a draft beer for \450. Want dessert? Ice Cream sells for \180. Genghis Khan has been a favorite of mine since I was about six years old. I can remember the restaurant being one of my favorites when I was a young child, and if I am lucky enough to be on island when Ifm sixty, Ifm sure the restaurant will remain one of my favorites. If you are driving out of Kadena Gate 1, turn left onto highway 58. At the first stoplight, turn right. ACE Insurance, Pizza In, and Ichibankan Karaoke will be on your right. Go straight and turn right at the first possible right-hand turn. Youfll see Genghis Khan up ahead. Free parking is available in the dirt lot on your left right before you get to the restaurant. |
