Toy exhibit to help promote international understanding

The Okinawa Exhibition Committee is holding an educational exhibit featuring toys from around the world Jan. 18-27 at Korinza Mall in Okinawa City. The purpose of the show is to help the public understand the culture and lifestyle of each participating country through its toys. Nearly 1,000 contemporary and traditional toys, some of which visitors may handle, from 89 countries and regions are on view at the mall. Admission to the exhibition is free. Hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. through Jan. 27.
