New clinic offers solutions to stress and health difficultiesDate Posted: 2005-07-09 ‘Adjustmentroom’ is a chiropractic clinic that carries its service well beyond the traditional bone adjustments. Chiropractor Fumiko Gushiken says her full service clinic will offer traditional adjustments and manipulations to ease pain, but is reaching to a higher standard. Standard treatments range from ¥1,000~2,500 per treatment, depending on time. Backbone and pelvic adjustments are offered as ongoing services, with an A Course of 25 minutes costing only ¥1,200, a 40-minute B Course ¥1,700 and a C Course lasting one hour for ¥2,500. An available foot relaxation therapy is offered. The 25 minutes massage runs ¥1,500. The therapy uses lemon oil as the massage gently moves from the thigh to down under the knee and leg before the feet. Gushiken is an experienced chiropractor, studying first in school, then a clinic, and ultimately working in a hospital. The ‘Adjustmentroom’ sports exercise technique department is expected to be popular, as will the aromatherapy and reflexology treatments. The veteran chiropractor says there’ll also be time dedicated to working with people not only on physical ailments, but on psychological issues of body control. ‘Adjustmentroom’ offers reasonably priced books of tickets for its services. Buying a five-ticket book saves ¥1,000, while a 10-ticket book will save the client ¥4,000. The clinic is open daily from 10am to 7pm. Fridays and Saturdays the ‘Adjustmentroom’ opens also in the evening from 8~10pm to provide appointment services. The clinic is easily reached from Camp Foster and other bases. From Camp Foster’s Legion Gate, drive straight through the first traffic light, turning right toward the Expressway #3 entrance, which is Nakagusuku. Instead of turning onto the expressway, continue going straight, under the expressway. Turn left at the traffic light after passing under the expressway. There’s a Family Mart on the corner as a reference. Sun Hills Town is the housing area up the hill. Turn left, drive 50 yards, turn left again, and look for the ‘Adjustmentroom’ sign. |
