Job Fair offers employment options for departing servicemen and families

Departing military personnel and their family members can job shop before they leave Okinawa.

A Job Fair is set for May 18 at The Palms on Camp Hansen, then the 19th and 20th at Camp Fosterís Community Center. The event is open to active duty military personnel from all services, dependents and to retirees. It is being sponsored by the Marine Corps Personal Services enter Transition Assistance Management Program.

Organizers say there will be dozens of employers representing numerous career fields. Five major employers looking for new employees are the Central Intelligence Agency, Wackenhut security, SAIC, an employee-owned research and engineering firm, Anteon and California restaurant chain Panda Restaurant Group.
