Another GI dies in motorcycle crashDate Posted: 2005-04-07 Police say Sergeant Dereck Lancaster was on his 1000cc motorcycle when it went off the road and crashed into trees. He was pronounced dead at a Nago hospital, then transported to the U.S. hospital at Camp Lester. Lancaster was assigned to a Headquarters and Service Battalion at Camp Foster. Investigators say alcohol and speed did not appear to be factors in the crash. He died of internal injuries and cardiac arrest. Lancaster left a wife and three children. |
