“Best of the best,” Futenma Flightline Fair 2003 this weekendDate Posted: 2003-07-05    Lots of food and fun will be on hand including game booths, LIVE bands, amusement rides for the kids, kiddie land, a fabulous 4th of July fireworks display, assorted food booths, and car and motorcycle shows featuring some of the hottest rides on the island. The car and motorcycle shows are open to everyone island-wide, so if your wheels have what it takes, bring them along and register on-site for the competition. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each classification. And, one of the premier events of the Flightline Fair for the young and old alike is the fascinating aircraft display. There will be plenty of red-hot entertainment of all styles, including magic acts, martial arts demonstrations, R&B, traditional Mexican dance, jazz, salsa, variety, hip hop, and much more. And for rock and R&B fans, national recording artists Yasmeen and Tonic will appear. Yasmeen performs live in concert on Saturday, July 5 at 9:15 p.m., and Tonic will perform on Sunday, July 6 at 8:30 p.m. Admission to the Futenma Flightline Fair is free and the event is open to everyone island-wide.
