New business hotel opens doors in downtown Naha

A new business hotel opened its doors in downtown Naha Monday. The Roynet Hotel Naha Kumoji, located on Highway 58 in Naha. The new hotel is one of 11 franchises owned by Daiwa Royal in japan.update.

Daiwa’s president, Sou Goechi, is from Tokyo. He says Roynet in Okinawa has 239 rooms, and is catering not only to business travelers, but also to tourists and families.

Hotel reservations can be accomplished via the internet. The Roynet features many special services, including wheelchairs for patrons. Manager Katsuya Yamamoto says “we have twin rooms, and more double rooms than any other hotels. We also have high speed computer internet access too.”

Yamamoto notes that the internet access is free. He says check in and checkout are computerized with automated machines. The Roynet Hotel Naha Kumoji also runs a points system that grants credits for frequent use. Yamamoto says ten nightly stays at his hotel gets you ten points, which means one free one-night stay.

Roynet patrons can join the Roynet Club, which costs Y500 per year, and provides added benefits.
