Ten convenience stores to have Ryukyu bank ATMDate Posted: 2004-04-01 Mr. Isao Oshiro, Ryukyu Bank president, says his bank will tie up with Lawson in Okinawa, beginning in August. They already have ATM’s in some 30 Family Mart in Okinawa , bringing the total to 40 convenience stores being serviced. They tie up with Lawson ATM Network in Tokyo, headed by Mr. Kishimoto. Service will be the same as at Family Mart, being open 7:00a.m. ~ 2:00a.m. on weekdays, 8:00a.m. ~ 10:00p.m. on weekends. Customers can make deposits, withdrawals, budget their accounts, and check their balances. The charge will be the same as Family Mart . Ryukyu Bank, which initiated the process of placing ATM’s outside the banks as a service to customers, says their outside ATM’s will now be in 167 locations with 178 machines, including Lawson. |
