Brand New Island Market Autos a Huge ImprovementDate Posted: 2004-04-01 A new type of ad has been added to the Island Market Autos to allow sellers to keep their ads online indefinitely. Priority Gold ads will remain in the autos until the seller decides to have his or her ads removed. The seller’s credit card will automatically be billed every week for added convenience. No longer do sellers have to resubmit their ads every week. When placing a priority gold ad, you are in complete control and your ad will remain online as long as you wish. Priority Gold ads cost $15.00. Also, the previous version of the autos only allowed sellers to submit one photograph to accompany ads. With the new system, you can submit up to four photographs for added exposure. Many new automobile options have been added as well, allowing you to give more information about your auto’s specifications. User-friendliness has been bumped up a notch too. When submitting your ad, if you make an error you will be given a friendly warning as well as information on how to easily correct your mistake. The search engine backing the Autos has been further streamlined allowing for very quick page-loads and easy browsing. Our Autos pages also have advanced search capabilities allowing you to find autos that match your criteria. The new design of the Autos pages matches the design of our website and the Island Market Classifieds allowing for easy transitioning between different sections of our website. The search functionality is the same as that of the Classifieds, so if you are familiar with the Classifieds search system, you should have no trouble familiarizing yourself with the Autos. We have also introduced a new FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) area into our Autos pages. If you come across any problems or have any questions regarding the Autos, you should be able to find an answer in the FAQ. The most powerful aspect of the Autos is that when you place a paid ad, your ad will appear in the Island Market Autos as well as in the Island Market Classifieds. If you place a Priority ad you will get 200% the exposure for only a 35% increase in cost. However, if you place a Priority Gold ad in the Autos, your ad will appear in both the Autos and Classifieds for only 11% more than if you had used the Classifieds alone.
