SIMPLY ASHLEY Draws Teen Support on Valentine’s DayDate Posted: 2004-02-26   Fifty teens showed up to sing and participate in the contests, all part of the party. By the end of the evening, some teens joined together, played instruments and sang, eventually forming a group jam session. Ashley Leathers, whose idea the event was, said "I am floored by how many of my peers came out to support this. I did not realize we would make such in impact on our first outing. I want to personally thank all the teens that came out to support the event. “It meant a lot to me.” Although the night ended quickly, one thought was left in everyone's mind: what will be next, and when will it be? |
