Passionate young men on the last stretch of their journey

It has been almost seven years since Keiichiro Nakamura moved to Okinawa. He enjoys living here and has a sense of mission and a passion for life. Born in 1976 in Kobe, Nakamura is a young businessman who has launched a tour event project called ANCHORRING JAPAN, utilizing his travel experience in 31 countries. The guiding idea behind his tours, which have proven popular with tourists and the younger generation in Okinawa, is to have contact with local people and nature.

People who enjoy people are naturally drawn to Nakamura, whose face and behavior reflect his humanity. His dream of managing tour projects on the world stage fascinates people; he has great potential, and his admirers watch him with a sense of anticipation.

He is currently traveling around Japan by bike, primarily on the Pacific Ocean side, with his friend, Tsuyoshi Genko. They departed Hokkaido, the northernmost prefecture, on Jan. 1 and are moving towards the finish line in Naha City. During their travels they sponsor events such as talk shows in order to facilitate exchanges with the young generation all over Japan. They are introduced through various media and update their Web site daily.

If everything goes according to schedule, they will arrive in Chatan Town on Sunday, Feb. 22 and from there will cycle to the finish line, a 20-kilometer, four-hour ride. If you are interested in seeing them on the last stretch of their journey, come to the square in front of the Mihama 7-Plex movie theater at 9:00 a.m. and give them a warm welcome.
