Two bodies found in Tomoshiro

In the space of just three days, police have found the bodies of two middle-aged persons and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

The first body, that of a woman, was found August 14 at about 8:45 p.m. in Ounoyama Park in Naha City. According to Tomishiro Police, foul play has been ruled out as a cause of death, and are now presently trying to determine the woman’s identity. The woman is believed to be between 30 and 40 years of age, 155cm to 160cm tall and weighed approximately 70kg. She wore blue jeans and white sneakers.

August 17 saw the discovery of a man_s body in a rest room at the Former Marine Trench Park in Tomishiro Village. He is aged between 45 and 55, is 170cm tall and 65kg. The man was wearing a light blue shirt and navy blue trousers. Police also ruled out any chance of murder or suspicious circumstances regarding the man’s death, and are continuing with their investigation.
