Police nab robbery suspectDate Posted: 1999-08-20 According to police, Kazuyuki Higa, 26, from Kitanakagusuku Village, allegedly stole two bank books and a hanko (Japanese seal) August 5 at about 1 p.m. from a parked car in a Nishihara Town parking lot. Several days later during an attempt to make a withdrawal from one of the stolen bank books, Higa was questioned by police and quickly confessed to the August 5 theft. Police took him into custody and charged him with theft. |
