Prefecture Invites Applicants for Voluntary ActivitiesDate Posted: 1999-12-10 The volunteers whose applications are being received at this moment will help in environmental beautification activities, reception activities and other general activities. As far as reception duties are concerned, the volunteer will do flower arrangements and serve tea at the airport, reception halls and at the press center. As for the environment beautification aspect, the members of this group will take part in the clean-up campaign. The group of general volunteers will do everything else except for what has been reserved for the two other groups. Anyone who wishes to join in these activities should fill out an application form, available at the Okinawa Prefecture Summit People’s Promotion Council (2nd and 14th Floor of Prefectural Office), the Okinawa Prefecture International Exchange Bureau, the Okinawa Kanko Convention Bureau and all municipal offices in Okinawa, and then send back by fax or mail to the Summit Promotion Council.
