Nago Gets New Civic Safety Liaisons AssociationDate Posted: 1999-12-10 Over 800 people, mostly inhabitants of Nago City, participated in a ceremony during which the association’s leader expressed the hope that “hosting the G-8 Summit could be an opportunity to promote Nago City to the world.” He called on all to cooperate with the police to keep safety in Nago City during the Summit so as to assure that it ends in success. The association’s main activities will include crime-prevention and Traffic Safety Campaigns, and Cooperative Actions with the Police. They hope to attract some 2,000 people into the association by next February. |
