Okinawa Prefectural Police Headquarters opened its official website to the public on December 1st. The homepage is divided into several sections featuring the various police divisions and different categories of statistics gathered in the exercise of their duties. The site has a counselor’s corner which tackles juvenile delinquency and sexual crimes and a section that registers information from the public on crime suspects and unsolved crimes. There is also useful information for potential sex crime victims on how to get assistance, and another section for high-technology crimes all over the nation. A Prefectural Police officer said that they are going to add more information onto the homepage in due time.
