Man drowns; alcohol to blameDate Posted: 1999-08-07 According to police, Katsuhiko Tomoyose, 54, and a friend consumed alcohol earlier that evening and then drove to the Hirara Fishing Port where they decided to rest and try and sober up. When Tomoyose left the vehicle to go to a nearby toilet, police believe he become disorientated and slipped off the pier into the water. A short while later, his companion discovered Tomoyose floating in the water and dragged his body to shore. He died a short while later. |
