DODDS Okinawa High Schools Present “College Fair”

Next Thursday October 28th will be the day community volunteers representing more than 40 US colleges and universities will hold a “College Fair” at the Kadena High School Cafetaria. This educational fair, which, runs from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., will permit parents and students to get information on what American colleges have to offer. The University of Maryland and Central Texas College will provide information on how to start college in Okinawa. Military recruiters, an Air Force Academy, ROTC Liaison Officer and a representative of Japanese universities will also be available. Volunteers from the Alma Mater College Corps initiative will be available to answer questions from parents and students of Kubasaki and Kadena High Schools. DOD ID holders with children in local Okinawa private schools will also be welcome.
