AAFES salons a cut above the restBy: Marie W. Conway Date Posted: 1999-10-08 On September 27 and 28, Dudley gave demonstrations of relaxing and styling African-American’s hair at the Foster Beauty Salon, and for the following two days at the Kadena Beauty Salon. Twenty-four models participated at Foster’s Salon and were extremely pleased with the outcome. Model Bobbette King said she loved Dudley’s products and that her hair felt much softer and healthier. The stylists even remarked on how much younger King looked after the new cut, courtesy of Donnie Wilkins, one of Dudley’s international stylists. Maria Teeuwen, manager of both Kinser and Foster camps (Es Beauty Salons), expressed how pleased she was to have Dudley visit the salon because it would benefit not only the stylists, but models and future customers. Holding theses seminars will give the customers more confidence in the stylists knowing they are more informed about relaxing hair and styling. Dudley manufactures and distributes their multi-cultural hair and skin products, which are sold only at professional hair salons, and will soon be available in AAFES stores. Dudley also has many beauty schools in the United States. For more information about Dudley, check out their website at: www.dudleyq.com. |
