57-year-old man dies in waterDate Posted: 1999-07-30 According to Gushikawa Police, Masanobu Zamami went out to a beach with his friend on that day. When they reached Uken Beach in Gushikawa City, they decided to swim to a breakwater out in the ocean some 120 meters away from the beach. The friend got to the seawall first and Zamami reached the point somewhat later. When he reached the point, Zamami he seemed very exhausted. His friend noticed that something unusual happened to him and asked a near-by fisherman for help. The fisherman then called an ambulance, and Zamami was taken to Chubu Hospital where he died later on the same day. |
