Police arrested bosozoku wanted for a yearDate Posted: 1999-07-30 According to the police, they arrested Hideki Miyaguni, 20, who allegedly is a former member of a motorcycle gang called “Akujo Tenshi.” He was arrested on charges of reckless driving without a valid license. The incident took place when Miyaguni was 19, on July 5, 1998. The suspect and other gang members had been driving slowly in the traffic at Kumoji Intersection on Highway 58 in Naha City, with a fleet of motorcycles and with steel pipes in their hands. They wore special uniforms and had their faces covered, and drove the bikes very slow in order to harass other drivers. Police has so far arrested six of nine suspects involved in the incident. Three suspects who ran away are still under arrest warrant. |
