28-year-old man arrested for interfering with police

Kadena Police arrested a 28-year-old man, Shoichi Nakayama, Thursday, on charges of interfering with a police officer on duty.

According to the police, Nakayama victim first called the police to notify them that he had quarreled with his father who subsequently ran away from the house. He insisted police to let him into the jail for overnight. After he called the police, he appeared at the Kadena Police station, mad at the officers because they refused to arrest him. He then attacked one of the officers on duty.

The police then arrested Nakayama immediately.
