Man robbed of his car in Naha

Three or four men said to be in their early 20’ies stole a 21-year old hotel clerk’s car, Monday in Naha City. The incident took place at the parking lot reserved for the hotel’s employees.

According to Naha Police, the group of young men attacked the victim when he was parking his car. They pulled the clerk out of the car and punched him on the face and back several times. They then drive off with the victim’s car, valued at ¥200,000.

The victim called the police immediately who dispatched a team of police officers to the scene. The police inspected the site, but have not been able to trace the culprits. The investigation continues.

The victim was injured slightly.
