Small aircraft take off failsDate Posted: 1999-07-17 One of the four passengers on the aircraft suffered a slight head injury. The three others were taken to a hospital in Naha for examination. The pilot suffered no injury. The wings of the aircraft were partially torn off and it had damage in the front of its fuselage. The pilot blamed strong side winds for the misshap. The accident caused the temporary closure of the Aguni Airport and the cancellation of one of the Ryukyu Air Commuter’s scheduled flights to the island. |
