Okinawa City to host tours

Okinawa City is hosting two tours this month as part of their annual international workshops program. On July 10 the "Explore Okinawa City Tour" will begin with a trip to a black sugar factory, introducing you to how black sugar is made, followed by an excursion to an awamori factory. The tour then continues to a local market for shopping, and ends with an international exchange party.

On Saturday, July 17 an "Introduction to Ireland Tour" is available for anyone interested in Irish food and drink. Performances of Irish dance will also take place during this festive tour, which will be held at the Morrigan's pub. To register please call 939-1212 ext. 2421.
