This week’s entertainment features something for everyone. If you’ve been dying to get your laugh on, you won’t want to miss the “Attack of the Mad Comedians” sponsored by MCCS. The event features comedians Honest John, Spike Davis, Dennis Gaxiola and Monique all from the TV show “Comic View,” performing live at Camp Foster’s Globe & Anchor on June 18 and Camp Kinser’s Surfside on June 19. Showtime is 9 p.m. for both shows. “Comic View” comedian Speedy will host the all-star line up. Tickets for the “Mad Comedians” are $15 each and include an R&B dance party and food to follow.

For all you boot-scootin’ two-steppers, Kadena’s Banyan Tree Club will sponsor a free Country music concert June 24. The concert is scheduled from 9 p.m. - 11: 45 p.m. and features the sizzling Tennessee country group “Country Plus,” performing live in the Banyan Tree lounge. So wrestle up your partner and swing her round and round at the Banyan Tree Club for a foot stompin,’ knee slappin’ good time.

If Rap music is more to your liking, don’t miss the free hip-hop extravaganza “Hip-Hop Live ‘99” June 18. The event features some of the island’s best singers, rappers and DJ’s combining for a tour de force in entertainment. The host and man behind the music is DJ Crissa, who’ll keeping the party jumping. It all starts at 7 p.m. in Chatan Park, Hamby Town. The event promises to surpass your wildest expectations.
