‘99 Multi-Media Fair to be held June 18-19Date Posted: 1999-06-19 The fair will open from 10 a.m. both days. During the two-day fair, exhibits by more than 80 companies in Okinawa, such as NTT Okinawa, NEC Okinawa, and Nihon IBM, will be displayed and office automation supplies will be available for purchase. Two Multi-Media Forums will also take place. The first, entitled “The business that makes use of multi media” will run from 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. A panel discussion titled “Multi Media Island, Okinawa” will take place from 2 - 3:30 p.m. Both forums are scheduled to be held at the exhibition hall and the conference hall, respectively. During the fair, open-door seminars will also be run. Seven seminars are scheduled for Friday the 18th; eight seminars on the 19th will be conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations are required to attend both seminars. (Please note all lectures, discussions, and seminars are given in Japanese.) Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Directions: To get to the Okinawa Convention Center from Kadena, take Route 58 and head for Naha. When you reach the traffic lights in Mashiki (just past the Ginowan Police Station), turn right and go straight until you see the Okinawa Convention Center gate right in front of you. |
