New golf instructor for Banyan Tree Golf Course

Complimentary golf instructions and free rangeballs will be the order of the day at the Banyan Tree Golf Course Driving range, Kadena Air Base on Saturday, June 5, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. as PGA Teaching Professional Howard Kuroda makes his debut as the course's new instructor. Banyan Tree Golf Course is offering a special "Meet the Instructor" event in which participants will receive free golf lessons and have the opportunity to take advantage of Pro Shop Specials.Kuroda comes to Okinawa from Kaneohe Bay Golf in Hawaii where he was the Director of Golf. At Banyan Tree Golf Course, he is the teaching professional in charge of overseeing the Golf Instruction/Youth Golf Development programs. Additional responsibilities are overseeing the tournaments and the golf retail operation.
