Foreigners assault, rob Okinawan

Two male foreigners reportedly assaulted and robbed a 19-year-old Okinawan man in Uechi, Okinawa City last Friday. Okinawa City Police say the two suspects had followed the Okinawan as he was on his way home from his part-time job at a pub. They then attacked him from behind, knocked him down and stole ¥500 in cash from his vallet.

According to the victim, the two assailants then fled on foot towards Kadena Gate 2. The police say that the two suspects are white, about 18 years old, and slightly built. The investigation continues.
