The United Service Organizations (USO) Okinawa invites military personnel and their families to get into the holiday spirit at one of their island-wide Centers. USO's located on military installations at Kadena, Futenma, Hansen and Schwab will be hosting various activities for the holiday season including free food and beverages, plus prize giveaways from December 24 to 26, 1998.

Personnel stationed at MCAS Futenma, Camp Hansen, and Camp Schwab are invited to join the festivities sponsored by AT&T. Centers will be opened continuously for 72-hours from December 24 to 26. Those with the munchies can enjoy a free breakfast at Camp Futenma on Christmas Day starting at 7 a.m., plus take part in other holiday delights such as free movies, free snacks and prize giveaways. Tastebuds will be tempted at the dessert buffet being served at Camp Hansen on December 24 at 6 p.m. Wake up Christmas Day and enjoy a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m. followed by a dessert buffet at 6 p.m. If that's not enough food, come back for more at a BBQ on December 26 starting at 1 p.m. Call Camp Hansen at 623-5025 for more details.

Not to be outdone, Camp Schwab gets into the holiday spirit with fun events and free snacks on December 24 and 26. Enjoy a Christmas breakfast plus desserts at 9 a.m. on December 25, then finish the day with a BBQ at 6 p.m. Call 625-3852 for more details.

All ages will enjoy the feast set for Christmas Eve at the Kadena USO starting at 5 p.m. Sponsored by Rapid Link/Loralee, this feast is sure to have lots of Christmas cheer plus great prize giveaways. Enter the chance to win a color TV, Disc Man, JVC Camcorder, and the grand prize of a trip for two to Seoul, Korea. (A $5 donation to the USO enters you into the drawing.) Though the USO no longer has a center at Camp Kinser, the USO will still be spreading the holiday cheer by providing turkeys for a feast at the Camp Kinser Chapel, and at Torii Station.
